NextOre has been named a finalist for the 2021 KCA Award for Best Licensing Deal

NextOre’s Magnetic Resonance (MR) technology is a breakthrough innovation delivering efficient and highly accurate, real-time measurements of mineral concentrations in broken rock at full-scale mining rates.

Formed in 2017 as a collaborative venture between CSIRO, RFC Ambrian and Advisian Digital (Worley), NextOre was structured to give a highly promising technology the best chance of success by teaming up with existing technical, commercial, and financial leaders in the space.

In 2020, RFC Ambrian’s partnership with CSIRO was celebrated when Chrysos was presented with the prestigious KCA Research Commercialisation Award. The nomination of NextOre for a 2021 KCA award validates this partnership as a lucrative blend of excellent science with deep industry knowledge and dynamic commercial capabilities.

KCA Awards recognise and honour the achievements of “top tier work” in Australasian tech transfer. The Judging Panel for the 2021 KCA Awards comprises of Mr Tim Boyle (ANSTO), Natalie Chapman (gemaker), Dr Mark Wickham (Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick) and Dr Laura Issa (Abbvie Inc.) and winners will be announced at the KCA Annual Conference on Thursday 9 September 2021.

RFC Ambrian is thrilled with the success of NextOre as our second commercialisation partnership with CSIRO and would like to congratulate all 2021 KCA Award nominees and winners.
