Caoilin graduated from Trinity College Dublin and has over 25 years’ technical, commercial and management experience in the resources industry, with a career spanning multiple commodities around the globe. She is currently Head of Corporate – Technical Services at Thiess, having previously held leadership roles at BHP, MIM/Xstrata (Glencore) and Anglo American as well as the position of Resources Investment Commissioner for the Queensland Government. Caoilin was a finalist in the Women in Industry Awards, 2016 and 2023 and winner of the QRC/WIMARQ Exceptional Woman in Exploration Award. She sits on the Management Committee for the Queensland Exploration Council, has extensive experience in M&A, project evaluation and strategy and a passion for leadership and developing teams and individuals.
